Located in the heart of Madidi Park, deep in the Bolivian Amazon. It is just reached after a short flight from La Paz to Rurrenabaque and you can take bus this take 18 to 24 hours traveling to Rurrenabaque, and 5h and 30minute in our confortable boat trip up the Beni and Tuichi Rivers.
The Ecolodge is made up of traditional indigenous Tacana style. The walls are made from the Copa Palm (Iriartea Deltoidea) and covered with matting, the roofs are woven with Asaí palm leaves (Geonoma Deversa) and the floors made of fine hardwood.Up to 30 guests in comfortable cabins, specially designed paths allow you to discover the rainforest with many species of birds and plants.

The Ecolodge offers three types of accommodation; luxurious cabins with double beds and private bathrooms (3 in total), twin/triples rooms with private bathroom (7 in total), and twin rooms with shared bathroom facilities (4 of them). All of our accommodation is equipped with mosquito nets, bedside tables, wardrobes, comfortable armchairs, verandas, balconies and hammocks where you can relax and read.

How this lodge promotes good stewardship of the environment:

The Ecolodge we build, with low-impact, using, local materials, like, wood and palm for cabins, solar powered lighting for the rooms.
We have a liquid waste treatment system, a water purifications system and a composting program.
Also we have low impact during the walks, because we do not have big groups, because the lodge is just for 30 people of capacity.

- Comfortable motor boats from Rurrenabaque to the Chalalán Ecolodge (5 ½ hours) and back
