Amazon Lodge Huasquila is a complex of bungalows located in the amazon rainforest of Ecuador in South America called the Sacred Valley of Cotundo, here the Eastern Slope of the Andes ends and the Amazon jungle begins. This location gives our guests variety of jungle tours such as hiking, caving, discovering the kichwa culture, rafting, and more. We have comfortable bungalows with terraces (7 fully wheel chair accessible) restaurante service, pool and jacuzzi. All necessary facilities for making your stay at our Amazon ecolodge an unforgettable experience.

What To Do:

The reserve has almost 200 HA, where we offer activities: hike to a waterfall, jungle hike were the guide will explain about medicinal plants and primary and secundary forest, cross a cave of 60 meters long where you will se bats, also visit a kichwa community here you will get to know about their culture, dances and typical beverage like huayusa. Also we can manage activities out side the reserve like rafting, visit tena and rio napo, visit the great cagnon and more.

What They Have:

We offer 20 rustic cabins which were built by people from the surrounding communities, of which seven bungalows along with all common areas are 100% wheelchair accessible. Each bungalow has private bathroom, hot water, confortable beds, and a terrace with a hammock ( air conditioning is not needed). Social areas with a restaurant and a deck, piscina and jacuzzi. We offer the activities, tours and private transfer from Quito.
